Fetrapi est une asbl (association sans but lucratif) et est gérée par un conseil d'administration. Le président et le vice-président du conseil d'administration sont respectivement Peter Verhaeghe et Gert Van de Weghe.

Fetrapi regroupe en son sein 3 groupes de travail:

• Le groupe de travail Autorisations, présidé par Gontran Soumoy.
• Le groupe de travail Sécurité, présidé par Gert Van de Weghe.
• Le groupe de travail Protection Cathodique, présidé par Patrick Mooens.
